According to AdAge, Facebook is planning a redesign of its “pages” to better entice users into engaging with on-page advertising. Updates are reported to include the following:
- Pages will have tabs, much like user profiles currently have.
- Information shared by pages will be included in the news feeds found on users profiles.
- Multiple tabs will allow Facebook ads to set any tab as a landing page.
There problems may be more complicated than page design, however, according to The Participatory Marketing Network (PMN) that says its the facebook platform itself that is the problem.
