Ebay Launches a New Campaign
Christmas is coming and everybody is getting ready to boost revenues in this short period of time. Ebay Inc. is one of the companies launching a new online campaign.
The Wall Street Journal posted the following in its article about Ebay:”The ad push, which features the tagline “Come to think of it, eBay,” follows a two-year effort by the online auctions pioneer to turn around its slumping marketplace. The campaign, which includes print, online and TV ads, will run through Christmas. EBay declined to say how much it was spending.”
Ebay reported for the first time that last year revenue increased in the third quarter. Ms. Norrington, president Ebay’s marketplace operations, commented:” We see a clear stabilization in the business as well as in the U.S. economy. We feel confident enough that it’s time to go out and re-engage consumers with the eBay brand.”
Hopefully, this early strategy will help Ebay to have a significant increase in revenues for this year.
