David Smith, CEO & Founder
Prior to founding HTC, David was CEO of Pacific Beach House, LLC, operating hotels in the San Francisco Bay area and Hermosa Beach.
Mr. Smith has developed and opened properties for Joie de Vivre Hospitality, where he served as vice-president of development. He has general manager experience with both the Kimpton Hotel Group and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
Born in southeastern Ohio in 1960, David graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio, with a B.S. degree in biology.

Gordon Vasquez, CIO / Creative Director & Founder
Co-Founder of HotelTravelCheck.com LLC where he holds the position of CIO since it's inception in 2001. Gordon also is the founder of RealTVfilms and recently launched the Hotel Specific Social Media company "HotelReels.com" that focuses on Video Content for Hotels distributed on all Social Media Channels.

Ulrich Schnetter, CFO & Founder
Ulrich Schnetter was born in 1960 in Coburg, Germany. After completing his education and formal hotel training, Mr. Schnetter moved to the United States in 1985, where he joined the Ritz-Carlton
Hotel Company, opening twelve hotels worldwide during his eight-year tenure. He founded USTA Corp., a restaurant and consulting company in 1994, and started For Catering, LLC in 1997.
From 1998-2001, Mr. Schnetter served as executive vice-president for Raven Hotels and is a founding member of HTC.
