The Blue Sail Inn is one of California's finest motel, nestled in the quaint little fishing village of Morro Bay, half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Morro Bay has a laid-back easy-going atmosphere, with small shops along the waterfront, that would make Monterey and Carmel envious. Some of California's greatest restaurants are in Morro Bay. The Galley, Harbor Hut, Great American Fish Co., Flying Dutchman, Dorns, and Hofbrau, Outrigger; are just a few. Most of these feature all types of fine cuisine; come explore!

The Blue Sail Inn sets on a bluff, overlooking the Embarcadero and Morro Rock with easy access to the embarcadero by way of a wooden staircase just a few yards away. As you go down it you are over looking a giant chess board; where you can actually play chess with giant chess pieces. The shops on the waterfront are great for those little gifts for folks back home.

Our Hot Tub is located in the west building and open from 10am to 10pm. 20 of our rooms now have ac/heater combo's in the east building. Mini Suites and some views have a wet bar and gas fireplace.

LOCATION

We are 13 miles north of San Luis Obispo Ca. just off Highway 1. Take Highway 1 north to the Morro Bay Blvd. exit. Go west until you come to a T. At the T go right and you will be in-between our two buildings. The office is on your left just a half block.
