The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) rail system connects the San Francisco
Peninsula with Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Walnut Creek, Dublin/Pleasanton, and
other cities in the East Bay. For over 30 years, BART has been providing fast,
reliable transportation to downtown offices, shopping centers, tourist
attractions, entertainment venues, universities, and other destinations for area
residents and visitors alike.
Stations and Schedules
BART provides service to 43 stations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Check our
hours of operation and holiday schedule for general service times. For detailed

Schedules" brochure or refer to the posted maps and timetables at any BART

Fares and Tickets
Children 4 and under ride free. Everyone else must have a BART ticket. BART

Getting to and from BART:
