The San Francisco Association of REALTORS® is a
professional association of over 5,000 members offering
business services and legislative representation to
real estate practitioners and affiliated service providers
in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
The Association operates a highly sophisticated web-based
multiple listing service for its
members. It is the primary means by which real property
for sale in San Francisco and the Northern Peninsula
is marketed. Limited access to the MLS is available
to the public to allow the inventory of properties for
sale to be searched.

The San Francisco Association of REALTORS® is part
of a network of local and state associations of REALTORS®,
all of which are affiliated with and chartered by the
National Association of REALTORS®. Local associations
generally provide services to REALTORS® doing business
in a particular geographic or marketing area. Most local
associations, either separately or jointly with other
local associations, operate multiple listing services.
Many other services are provided by local associations
to their REALTOR® members, including publications,
education programs and legislative representation.
